times square car bomb suspect faisal shahzad house found on google maps street view Within 10 minutes of the Associated Press' release on the news of Faisal Shahzad's arrest, I was able to locate his home address and phone number. The news headlines provided his name, age and the state that he presumably lived in, nothing more. I started with a Google search of "Faisal Shahzad" in the state of Connecticut. A matching name popped up along with a published phone number, age and city/town of Faisal Shahzad. The phone number was a published land line. I took the phone number and performed a "reverse phone look up" which enables you to trace someone's address linked to their published phone number. Usually, online services that offer reverse phone look ups only provide you with partial information of whom ever you are doing a search on. The partial information that was given upon my search verified that a person with the name matching the suspect's name lived in Shelton, Ct. and was 30 years old. The address was also provided. Armed with the address, I jumped on Google maps, input the street address and zoomed on his house. I then used Google street view to get an actual close up view of the suspect's former home.
